Historique :	L'auto-chenille Citroën le croissant d'argent de la traversée du Sahara de décembre 1922 à janvier 1923 a été déposée au musée de Saint-Jean-d'Angély en 1948 par L. Audouin Dubreuil, chef en second de l'expédition. Ce véhicule cédé par Citroën lui-même a auparavant servi lors de son séjour en Tunisie, il l'a ensuite ramené en France ; il s'agit d'un modèle unique, les autres véhicules ayant été détruits pendant les bombardements des usines Citroën en 1944 ; ce véhicule n'a jamais fait l'objet d'une restauration ; c'est un modèle HP type B2 modifié pour le raid de la traversée du Sahara.
